I’m crazily busy at the moment, and very easily distracted by babies, so please excuse the shorter than usual post.

I raced outside today when the light was beautiful to photograph some Crimson Rosellas that were feeding in the paddock. I took a few test shots before the rabbits hopped out and took their place. That left me with no rosella shots to share today and a collection of comical rabbit photographs to work on later.
I thought I’d share this female Superb Fairywren instead as she seems to be enjoying the (almost) springtime sunshine, she was singing happily at the edge of a busy pathway. I was definitely enjoying the (almost) springtime sunshine!
I’m busy working on some presentations, one for a local camera club and another for the Australian Photographic Society’s annual convention. These things seem to run in threes as I’ve just presented another session with the Australian Photography Judges Association on how to judge nature/wildlife images according to FIAP and PSA regulations – it’s a fairly complex set of strict regulations.
Wherever you are I hope you are getting some pleasant weather, my place is seriously waterlogged but sunshine is forecast again for tomorrow which I’m hoping will help.
Happy birding
Kim

Enjoy the baby time to the max and I hope the presentations go really, really well.
